Exploratory analysis on features associated with the achievement of a clinical benefit showed a trend toward a larger percentage of clinical benefit among patients who received only one previous line of trastuzumab plus chemotherapy (62%, 8 out of 13) compared with those who received more than one previous line (22%, 2 out of 9) Median time to response was 2 months and, among responding patients, the median duration of response was 8.8 (range: 1–12 + months.).
