Four previous studies [ 26 , 28 , 47 , 49 ] found a (non-significant) risk reduction with young age at first exposure, that is, starting to smoke between age 15 [ 28 ] or age 20 or earlier [ 49 ], but none of these studies has reported a significant trend.
