Atopy--a favourable prognostic factor for survival in Hodgkin's disease.

In Group 4 one patient died from peritonitis while in CR, one from complications of paraplegia while in relapse, one from multiple system failure with minimal hepatic HD and one patient who died at home while in relapse. Excluding the patients above re-analysis of survival still showed a highly significant trend (P<0.0001) for atopic strata.
