Similarly, when the outcomes of patients assigned to FEC14 were compared to those of patients assigned to FEC21, within the subgroup of HER2 − patients ( n =628), no difference was seen in EFS (HR=0.91; 95% CI 0.65–1.27; P =0.57), whereas, among the smaller subgroup of HER2 + patients ( n =103), a reduction in the rate of events was seen in patients assigned to FEC14 (HR=0.54; 95% CI 0.27–1.11; P =0.092), although the difference did not reach statistical significance.
