Of the 54 remaining genes, 16 were statistically differentially expressed between the selection lines at nominally significant P values that did not meet our conservative false discovery rate criterion, and 13 genes ( cacophony , Drop , homer , Shaker , TBP-related factor , turtle , Casein kinase IIα , Clock , cycle , discs overgrown , cAMP-dependent protein kinase1 , shaggy and timeless ) were differentially expressed at Q < 0.001 (Additional data file 8).
