When entered in the model, TVUS diagnosis (negative/benign vs suspicious of cancer) showed a nearly significant association with EC (RR=4.33, 95% CI 0.76–24.45), and symptoms remained the most significantly associated variable (RR=4.51; 95% CI 1.25–15.01) whereas thickness reduced its association, with risk increasing by 8% per millimetre increase, but at a nonsignificant level.
