However, this effect failed to reach statistical significance for the primary outcome parameters in the 200 mg/day arm and in the 600 mg/day arms in all of the 3 phase III studies, 38 – 40 and in the 400 mg/day arm in 1 study. 40 As a consequence, LCM has not been approved for this indication.
