The MET-uptake in WHO grade I tumors, especially in pilocytic astrocytomas (2.11 ± 0.88) was higher when compared to WHO grade II astrocytomas (1.69 ± 0.50), but the difference did not reach statistical significance (Student’s t -test; P = 0.28).
