Olweny, et al .[ 39 ] demonstrated less inflammatory tissue reaction and a tendency toward better urinary flow at 1 and 6 weeks when comparing this new prototype to a standard 7F double pigtail polyurethane stent in a porcine model, although results did not reach statistical significance.
