Careful analysis of the two pulse pressure curves showed different kinetics in pulse pressure increases, with a second phase increase in pulse pressure in patients with type 1 diabetes that was not observed in patients with type 2 diabetes; however, the between-group difference during the second part of squatting did not reach statistical significance ( Fig. 1 C ).
