A significant effect of time on SEPS1 mRNA level was identified using ANOVA. Post-hoc testing found that SEPS1 mRNA increased (P = 0.007) one week after the influenza vaccine (week 11) compared to pre-vaccination (week 10) in the 100 μg/day Se-yeast group and there was a similar increase in the 200 μg/day Se-yeast group, which was of borderline significance (P = 0.055).
