Participants with inferior Q waves showed trends toward increased risk for cardiovascular events compared with those without any Q waves, but these did not reach statistical significance and the confidence intervals were wide with only nine inferior Q waves noted among participants (Model 6 adjusted HR 2.53, 95% CI 0.70–9.03) (Table 4 ).
