Although it did not reach statistical significance, Responder patients presented higher methadone plasma concentrations of both, ( R )- (responders 311 ng/ml [SD = 259] vs. nonresponders 238 ng/ml [SD = 131], p = 0.136) and ( S )-methadone (responders 276 ng/ml [SD = 268] vs. nonresponders 205 ng/ml [SD = 121], p = 0.370) and, also, ( R,S )-methadone (responders 587 ng/ml [SD = 501] vs. nonresponders 443 ng/ml [SD = 246], p = 0.121).
