Although no significant difference was found either by Mann–Whitney rank sum or students t test between treated and untreated G1KD tumors, the TDG treated tumors did show a clear trend with reduced weight suggesting a residual effect of TDG on the remaining galectin-1 produced by the G1KD tumors.
