Another recent study analysed the association between SNPs from 46 previously reported adult height loci in children and found nominally significant associations for 15 loci ( 16 ), but that study analysed together all children between the ages of 0 and 18 years (preventing identification of age-specific effects) and does not have repeat measures on the same children.
