Consistent with previous reports of increased anxiety-like behavior in this model [15] , [26] , VPA-exposed mice exhibited significantly fewer center entries than SAL-exposed mice (F(1,43) = 5.65, P = 0.02; Fig 2a ), although center time did not reach statistical significance between groups (F(1,43) = 2.85, P = 0.09; Fig 2b ).
