Findings from a single dose study evaluating the effect of moderate hepatic insufficiency on raltegravir metabolism showed that although the C 12h was higher in subjects with moderate hepatic impairment (C 12h ratio 1.26, 90% CI 0.41–1.77), the difference did not reach statistical significance. 15 There was also no significant difference in the mean area under the curve (AUC) between the two groups of subjects.
