A breast cancer meta-analysis of two expression measures of chromosomal instability reveals a relationship with younger age at diagnosis and high risk histopathological variables.

We found a significant trend of increasing proportions of genomically unstable tumours with increasing CIN70 quartiles (Figure 1 , p < 0.0001), suggesting that both chromosomal instability expression signatures derived through independent methods, are highly correlated.
