These cytogenetic results are reported in Table 1 and they were used to obtain the coefficient of correlation (r) between these two cytological parameters, haploid chromosome number and SD of karyotype asymmetry, which was clearly negative with a highly significant likelihood, r = - 0.74 (P > 0.99).
