A greater number of myocardial infarctions was seen with both the 110 mg and 150 mg bid dose of dabigatran (98 and 97 events, respectively) compared with warfarin (75 events), although this did not reach statistical significance [110 mg vs. warfarin: RR 1.29 (95% CI 0.96–1.75; P = 0.09); 150 mg vs. warfarin: RR 1.27 (95% CI 0.94–1.71); P = 0.12].
