In Mossi ethnic group we noted that the CD3 + Panγδ + proportion remains stable through the season, whereas in Fulani ethnic group the proportion of these cells was double of that measured in Mossi ethnic group at the low transmission season and this difference was highly significant ( p = 0.004) (Figure 5 ) and remained significant during the high transmission season ( p = 0.04).

Although the percentages of Vδ2 + predominant among circulating γδ T cells subsets were similar in Fulani compared to Mossi ethnic group during both surveys the differences did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.12 and p = 0.48 respectively).
