However, in patients with stage III-IV disease ( n =236), high SATB2 expression was associated with a significantly prolonged CSS (HR=0.55, 95% CI 0.33–0.93, P =0.025) and OS (HR=0.60, 95% CI 0.37–0.98, P =0.041) and in multivariable analysis, this association remained significant for CSS (HR=0.52, 95% CI 0.28–0.95, P =0.034) and borderline significant for OS (HR=0.60, 95% CI 0.35–1.03, P =0.060) ( Table 3 ).
