Preparations from both cold– and warm-acclimatized crayfish showed a trend toward reduced cholesterol concentrations within 3 min of MβCD exposure, and by 10 min of treatment there was a significant decrease in the total cholesterol in both cold and warm-acclimatized groups ( Fig. 5 ; P<0.05).
