Although the current findings showed a trend consistent with this prediction (i.e., 73 ms vs. 60 ms for pre- and post-target inhibition, respectively, in Experiment 1, and 15 ms vs. 10 ms for pre- and post-target inhibition, in Experiment 2, respectively), the differences were not statistically significant.
