Nevertheless, significantly increased AMI risk with use of diclofenac has been repeatedly reported in previous studies [ 18 , 20 , 28 , 31 , 34 , 37 , 41 , 43 , 47 ] and most of the non-significant results showed a trend of elevated AMI risk with diclofenac [ 19 , 22 , 62 ].
