Changes in other lipid and blood pressure measures were minimal between cohorts and differences did not reach statistical significance at either 6- or 12-months (P > 0.05 for within and between cohort changes in total cholesterol, LDL-C, HDL-C, triglycerides, systolic and diastolic blood pressure).
