When the differences in the individual diet groups were tested, the phenotypic parameters between mice fed the HFD and the NCD did not reach statistical significance, though the HFD tended to increase the mean weight gain (+1.8 g, +25%), blood glucose (+3.5 mmol/l, +39%), FFAs (+0.2 mmol/l, +20%), and systolic blood pressure (+17 mmHg, +18%).
