Speculative explanations for these inconsistent findings have included variations in animal models[ 29 34 ] like, inconsistent flap adaptation[ 34 ] inadequate demineralization of periodontitis-affected root surfaces[ 35 36 ] and repopulation of the root surface with inappropriate cell types.[ 29 30 37 ] In the specimens treated with tetracycline hydrochloride (Group-IV) also, the agitated and nonagitated groups did not show any significant difference in the blood clot adhesion scores, but when compared with Group I agitated, the difference was moderately significant ( P =0.019).
