Other variables that were associated with cessation rate were current use of a 20 mg daily dose (Hazard Ratio = 1.68, 95% CI 0.79 to 3.56) and use of triple DMARD therapy at the time of leflunomide initiation (Hazard Ratio = 2.2, 95% CI 0.97 to 5.2), but these did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.18 and 0.057 respectively).
