The sentences
There was an evident trend ( Fig. 5 , upper panel) of a gradual decrease of number of habitats with a higher number of probe-detected groups inherent –11, 12 and 13 concurrent groups were found in 3, 1 and 1 habitat only, respectively.
We demonstrated for the first time a clear trend in lower diversity of Limnohabitans groups in the acidic part of the habitat spectrum as opposed to the alkaline part.
