We found that the potential HPV receptor ITGA6 [ 24 ] and the EBV receptor CD21 EBV [ 46 ], that was included as control for a viral receptor, were up-regulated in the tumour samples compared to corresponding normal tissue, though CD21 did not reach statistical significance (Figure 1 A).
