Islets from mice heterozygous for the global Mll2 knockout also secreted more insulin at 2 mM glucose although this did not reach statistical significance, however they secreted significantly less insulin at 10 mM glucose compared to wild-type littermate controls and had lower fold change differences at 10 and 20 mM glucose.
