This prediction was largely supported with all eight burned areas showing a relatively large number of genetic clusters with strong signals of genetic correlation ( Table 2 ), and patterns of genetic relatedness that were higher within burned patches compared to the average among all individuals ( Figure 2 ) and a strong trend of increased relatedness over time ( Figure 3 ).
