The level of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein tended to be higher in the recently symptomatic stenosis group (0.84±1.01 mg/dL) than in the chronic stenosis group (0.14±0.08 mg/dL), but the difference did not reach statistical significance ( p =0.694).
