Risk estimates for sitting 3–4 hours or 5+ hours per day were above one, and although there was no apparent trend, there was a borderline significant 32% (95% CI = 1.00–1.73) increase in lung cancer risk relative to those who sat less than 3 hours per day after combining these two highest categories.
