Although a statistically significant association could not be shown between the presence of abnormalities in the ACH tendon and in the other tendons based exclusively on qualitative assessment, a clear trend was present, with a higher frequency of abnormalities in the peroneal and medial tendons in subjects with ACH paratenonitis, tendinosis or tendon tears.
