Although patients in the Aux3 and Aux4 groups were assessed at a comparable age, children with macrocephaly and tall stature (Aux3) had an earlier onset of seizures (age 5 at the first peak for seizures), compared to children with isolated tall stature (Aux4) who displayed later seizures at a mean age of 12.5; the statistical analysis of the age at seizure onset in the two groups showed a strong trend to significance (p = 0.012).
