Two different doses of galnon (5 mg/kg, n = 9; 10 mg/kg, n = 9) induced robust CPP on the first post-test; saline-injected mice, irrespective of morphine pre-treatment, did not exhibit any preference for the conditioned compartment; this trend was also seen in the lowest dose galnon group (0.5 mg/kg, n = 9), though this effect did not reach statistical significance (treatment: F (4, 39) = 4.118, p = 0.007; test day: F (2, 78) = 5.582, p = 0.007; treatment × test day: F (8, 78) = 2.214, p = 0.035.
