There was no significant effect of diet on bodyweight curves in saline-treated ( P = 0.829) or MTX-treated ( P = 0.935) rats (two-way repeated measures ANOVA, Figure 3 ), however, there was an increase in bodyweight in animals fed on Diet C compared to Diet A and Diet B (placebo) in both saline-treated and MTX-treated animals, however, this failed to reach significance ( P = 0.935, Figure 3 ).
