In the present study, no significant difference in cIMT measurements was found between children and adolescents with T1DM and nondiabetic controls, with the exception of the group with longer diabetes duration (where an almost significant difference presented when compared to T1DM patients with shorter duration of diabetes, especially in the combined cIMT measurements).
