These results, along with those in Figure 3 , showing that a mixture of UreB237–251 and UreB321–339 (B cell epitope) plus CT-adjuvant yielded an enhanced IFNγ response and a nearly significant reduction in bacterial load, encouraged us to generate a CTA1-DD fusion protein, which contained a single copy each of both the T and B epitopes.
