The lipid profile improved in the exercising condition, with reductions in total cholesterol from 180.29 to 161 mg/dL, LDL cholesterol from 112.14 to 103.57 mg/dL and triglycerides from 97.14 to 50.43 mg/dL, although the changes did not reach statistical significance when compared with values in the controls.
