In evaluating the ability of a wireless motility capsule to detect pharmacologic effects on gastric contractility, we found a numerical trend towards an increased number of contractions after administration of erythromycin and a decreased frequency of gastric contractions with the administration of morphine, particularly using 20 mmHg above baseline as the contraction threshold.
