The efficacy equivalence of GC and MVAC has been generally accepted and GC has been adopted due to its being less toxic but the previous study was powered only to show superiority of GC and the results showed a trend towards equivalence. 23 Better tolerability is an important factor in considering whether to introduce perioperative chemotherapy in daily practice.
