In individual studies, Kastelein et al reported that NSAIDs use for >2 months was associated with a significant trend towards a lower risk of neoplastic development than NSAIDs use for 2 months or less, and Nguyen et al demonstrated that filled COX inhibitors prescriptions for at least 12 months had a non-significant greater reduction in EAC risk than those with <12 months' prescriptions.
