The peak amplitude of W/W V group 1 muscles demonstrated a tendency toward increase in the excitatory component, however the increase did not reach statistical significance at all frequencies tested compared to wild-type muscles (e.g., W/W V group 1 [1 Hz]: peak 0.27 ± 0.03 mN; [8 Hz]: peak 1.62 ± 0.23 mN; n = 14).
