Similarly, our analysis showed that the reductions in HbA1c after 12 weeks treatment tended to be greater for patients on 50 mg sitagliptin compared with those on 25 mg sitagliptin (0.64% vs 0.59%, respectively), although the difference failed to reach statistical significance ( P = 0.70) and disappeared entirely on multiple linear regression analysis ( P = 0.94).
