The large ARD in the eccentric group may have been affected by height; however, multivariable analysis confirmed that the association between large ARD and eccentricity was independent of height, and subgroup analysis with absolute values of echocardiographic markers, but not with indexed values, even showed a trend toward short stature in the eccentric group.
