Discussion Most CF patients use nebulizers routinely, ( 2 ) and, in the present study, the prevalence of contamination of home nebulizers was found to be quite significant (57.5%), despite the fact that most patients reported being aware of the importance of nebulizer cleaning and disinfection practices.
