Individual patient factors The effect of smoking and sex on olanzapine plasma concentrations following OLAI dosing in the HGKA study showed a trend consistent with historical oral olanzapine data in which the range of olanzapine concentrations is known to be shifted toward a higher but overlapping distribution of values in nonsmokers than in smokers and in women than in men.
